No. 6 The Butts is a cottage located in a row, dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed of whitewashed stone rubble and features a thatched roof. The building is one storey with an attic and consists of one bay, with an additional bay added at the rear. There is a stack at the left end of the cottage. The entrance is a boarded door, and there is a timber 6-pane casement window.
