Description

Chapel Lane Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubblestone and has a thatched roof. The building is one storey with an attic and consists of two bays. The front features a central board door and two-light casement windows, except for a three-light window on the upper left side. The upper windows are set into the thatch. Oak lintels are present above the windows. The north gable is rendered, while the south elevation facing the lane has an off-centre casement window, a two-light window on the ground floor, and a one-light window in the attic. There are flanking brick stacks on stone bases.
