Description
Pennyhayes is a cottage dating from around the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed from roughcast stone rubble and features a thatched roof with half-hipped and hipped ends, along with eyebrow eaves. The cottage is one storey high with an attic and has a long range of five windows. The windows are a mix of 19th century and modern casements. There are two modern doors, one of which has a modern timber porch. A rendered brick ridge chimney stack is present, and there is an oven that projects slightly at the rear.
