Description

Laburnum Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed of roughcast stone rubble, with a thatched roof featuring gabled ends. The cottage has two storeys and originally had a two-window front. It now has small, late 19th-century two-light casement windows with glazing bars. A modern porch has been added to the right side. A rendered chimney stack is located at the gable end. A two-bay extension dating from around the mid-19th century was added to the south side, with a slate roof. A modern, flat-roofed garage adjoins the north end of the property. This building has group value from the contribution it makes to the character of its setting.
