Description

Thatch End is an 18th and early 19th century cottage formed from the conversion of two earlier cottages. The left-hand side is built of plastered cob and stone rubble, with a thatched roof. The right-hand side is colourwashed rubble with a slate roof. Both roof sections are gable-ended. The cottage has two floors and a four-window front. It features small 18th and 19th century casement windows, some with leaded panes. A plank door is situated on the right-hand side, covered by a thatched hood. The cottage is set at a right angle to the road.
