Description

Jessamy is a house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It is constructed of coursed rubble and brick, topped with a thatched roof that has a half-hipped left side and features end brick stacks. The building is a single storey with an attic and has irregularly placed windows. The windows are 2-light casements, some of which have glazing bars and others with leaded-lights. There is a plain door at the front. At the back, there is a thatched wing. Inside, notable features include a plank and muntin partition, blocked open fireplaces, and a winding stair located next to the fireplace.
