Description
Diamond Farmhouse is a 17th-century house constructed from coursed, squared rubble and features a gable-ended, tiled roof. It has brick stacks at the gables and partway along the left ridge. The building is two storeys high with attics and consists of approximately six irregular bays. It includes three-light stone mullioned windows, some of which have glazing bars while others feature leaded-lights. A continuous weathered string course runs above the ground floor openings. The doorway has a moulded, four-centred head and continuous jambs. Inside, there is a through passage away from the stack, plank and muntin partitions, and the hall displays a ceiling with moulded, intersecting beams. Additionally, there are several 17th-century fireplaces of various patterns.
