Description

This is a farm building dating from the early 19th century, located immediately southeast of Higher Hampton Farmhouse. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a slate half-hipped roof. The ground floor serves as an implement shed with an open front, supported by square stone piers that hold up the loft floor. The front of the loft is currently weatherboarded, although it was likely originally open. The right-hand (south) end of the building is slightly set back and is divided into three storeys. This building is included for its group value with the nearby farmhouse.
