Description
This is a farm building dating from around the 18th century, with possibly earlier origins. It is constructed of stone rubble and has a slate roof with gabled ends. The building is two storeys high and features a long range with asymmetrical window arrangements. There are various windows fitted with leaded panes and brick arches, along with plank doors on the ground floor and additional doors leading to the loft above. The side facing the road has only one window and a loft door. A small stone ridge stack is present on the roof. Inside, the east end contains an open fireplace with a circular oven located behind it. This building is included for its group value with the nearby Hooperhayne Farmhouse.
