Description

Loutshayne, also known as Lawdeshayne, is a house dating from around the 17th century or earlier, which has been significantly enlarged and altered in the 18th and 19th centuries. The building is constructed of roughcast stone and features a slate roof with stone coping at the gable end. It stands two storeys high and includes a mix of modern and 19th-century casements and sashes, along with a notable 17th-century five-light ovolo moulded stone mullion window that has a dripmould. There is also a wing added to the north that dates from the 18th or 19th century.
