CODFORD SALISBURY ROAD ST 93 NE/ ST 982 388 (south side) 7/74 Milepost about 1 mile south east of Codford St Mary GV II Milepost. Circa 1840. Cast-iron classical pillar with pedimented top, raised lettering to front: SALISBURY / 13 / WARMINSTER / 8. One of a series of cast-iron mileposts and boundary posts on turnpikes radiating from Warminster, made by Carson and Miller. Warminster ironfounders. (R.
