STEEPLE LANGFORD SALISBURY ROAD SU 03 NW (off north side) 2/96 Milepost in drive to East of Clyffe Farm GV II Milepost. 1840. Cast-iron classical-style pillar with low pedimented capping, raised lettering to front: SALISBURY / 9 / WARMINSTER / 12. One of a series of cast-iron mileposts and boundary posts on turnpikes radiating from Warminster, manufactured by Carson and Miller, a firm of Warminster ironfounders. (R.
