Description
No. 14 High Street is a Grade II listed building that consists of two cottages now combined into one. It dates from the 17th century and features square-panelled timber-framing with brick or rendered panels, set on a rubble stone plinth. The building has a thatched roof with gable end brick stacks. The entrance is located at the rear, while the front facing the road is a single-storey structure with an attic and three windows. The ground floor includes two 2-light 20th-century casements and two 2-light leaded casements. There are three eyebrow dormers above, each with 2-light leaded casements. The right side of the building has a large external brick and stone stack with offsets. The rear features a 20th-century gabled porch with a planked door, a 2-light casement to the left, and two 2-light casements to the right, along with three eyebrow dormers with 2-light casements. Inside, the building has chamfered beams.
