Description
Nos. 2 and 3 Union Road are two shops that have been combined into one office, dating from the early to mid-19th century. The building is constructed of limestone ashlar and has a shallow-pitched slate roof with a double-depth plan.
The exterior features two storeys, with each shop having a one-window range. The first floor has plain surrounds to 6/6 pane sash windows. The central area originally had small-paned shop windows flanked by doors at each end; however, the door to No. 3 on the right is now blocked. No. 3 also has a simple fascia with a moulded cornice above three rows of four windows, while the shop window of No. 2 has been altered. The interior has not been inspected.
