Description

This is an 18th-century house located on the east side of Wootton Rivers. The house is constructed of brick with a thatched roof. It has two storeys and originally comprised three bays. The brickwork exhibits vitrified headers and composite flush red brick quoins, although the quoins’ pattern was altered on the ground floor. The front entrance is an off-centre half-glazed door with a two-light window above it. Several windows have been replaced in the late 20th century. A large external brick stack is positioned on the left side of the house, and another is situated at the right gable. There is a thatched outbuilding attached to the right side. A short, gabled wing extends to the rear of the right bay, and a long garage extension was added in the 20th century.
