Description

No 22 is a former pair of cottages that have been converted into one house, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The building is constructed of Flemish bond brick and features a thatched roof. It stands two storeys high, with each original cottage consisting of one bay. There is a lateral door and a narrow service room under an extension of the roof at the rear. The door to the left cottage has been replaced by a window, while the right door is boarded and has a bracketed canopy. The windows are three-light timber casements set within segmental brick openings. A central stack is present, and the roof is half-hipped at both ends. There is a louvred vent in the attic under the half-hip, and a recessed dormer is located at the rear. Inside, the property features chamfered spine beams.
