Description

Noyes Farmhouse is an 18th-century brick farmhouse with a thatched roof, situated on the west side of Wootton Rivers. The farmhouse comprises two distinct builds across five bays. The original three bays on the right are symmetrical, featuring a central half-glazed door sheltered by a bracketed canopy. These bays originally had tripartite 12-pane sash windows with gauged brick lintels; however, the rightmost bay now has a 19th-century canted bay window. The upper storey of this section has been rebuilt in diaper brickwork. Gable stacks are present. A left bay was added in the early 19th century, characterised by timber casement windows and an end stack. A garden enclosure with brick walls is attached to the elevation, extending along the road with iron spear-headed railings and a gate supported by fluted square iron stanchions.
