Description
This is a house from the early 18th century located on the south-east side of The Street in Englefield. It features a construction of grey brick headers with red brick dressings and has a hipped roof covered with old tiles. The building is two storeys high and includes rusticated quoins, chainage, gauged heads, half-H window aprons, and end stacks.
The south-west front has three bays with glazing bar sash windows that have exposed wooden boxes. There is a central blind window on the first floor. The entrance is through a central six-panelled door, where the bottom two panels are flush and the top four are fielded. The door is supported by cut brackets beneath a flat hood.
