Description
4 and 5 The Street are two houses built in the mid-18th century. They feature grey brick headers with red brick dressings and an old tile roof. The houses have a slightly recessed center and are two storeys tall. They include a rendered plinth, a dentil brick eaves cornice, end stacks, and a central stack located behind the ridge. The windows are glazing bar sashes with slightly segmental heads, and number 4 has blind boxes. The entrance to number 4 consists of a 6-panelled door, with the top four panels glazed, located between the first and second windows from the left. This door has a slightly segmental head and is sheltered by a 20th-century gabled porch. Number 5 has a 20th-century half-glazed door situated between the first and second windows from the right, also with a slightly segmental head and a 20th-century gabled porch.
