Description
The Little House is an 18th-century building that has been altered over time. It is constructed of rubble stone with a thatched roof and features brick chimney stacks on the right gable and on the side between the left-hand bays. The house has one and a half storeys and includes leaded wooden casements, with a two-light window in the left-hand bay and four windows in the thatch. There is a three-light window in a moulded oak frame with some old glass to the right.
A modern central projection with a gabled roof faces the street; this section has a brick ground floor with a barred and glazed door, and a jettied and weather-boarded first floor. The north wall of this central bay contains an upper three-light casement with irregular diagonal leading. There is also a similar casement at the rear of the house. Additionally, there are modern extensions at the rear and projecting from the right-hand bay.
