Description

Holmwood is an 18th-century, two-bay cottage constructed of rubble stone, with a central stack extended by one bay in brick to the left. The cottage has been white-washed and has a thatched roof with cusped bargeboards to the gables. In the 19th century, a symmetrical three-bay facade was added to the front. The central bay features a panelled door with half-glazed panels, sheltered by a timber porch. This is flanked by angled bays with slate roofs and marginal glazing. The first floor has two-light casements with bars.
