Description

Lyndale is a 13th-century house located on the north side of Main Street in Tingewick. The building features chequered brick and a tiled roof with a brick coped gable on the right side. It stands two storeys high and has a band course at the first-floor level. The façade includes two bays of sash windows with marginal glazing and a central five-panelled door. This door is set within an elaborate doorcase that includes Doric pilasters, an entablature with a pulvinated frieze, and a pediment. The guttering is adorned with a lion-head ornament.
