  1. Deeds (apparently) dated 1774. Altered. 2 1/2 storeys. Painted brick with old tile mansard roof hipped to left. 3 dormer windows, glazing bar sashes with architrave surrounds. Parapet with stone cope, moulded stone cornice. Band over ground floor, mitred over 1st floor bay windows. 2 angled bays of 3 lights each flank central window on 1st floor, all glazing bar sashes with moulded flush frames; dentil cornices. The bays formerly extended to ground floor, but were sliced off and replaced by plate glass shop windows. Continuous shop front fascia over ground floor with cornice [mitred where former bays were]; 2 separate shops with doors to outsides. Central half-glazed doorway with narrow over light. Of especial interest are the 3 gabled extensions at rear (2 at rear of Nos 14 and 16, one at rear of No 12), which have mansard tiled roofs and pigeon openings in gables.
