Description

Belle Vue is a cottage located in Urchfont, likely dating from the 17th century. It features colourwashed brick, which probably replaces the original timber framing, and has a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and consists of two bays, with a third bay that is a lean-to extending beyond the main stack. The entrance is on the right, accessed through a 20th-century gabled porch. The ground floor windows, which are from the 20th century, are set into blocked openings and have segmental brick arches above them. There are also two flush 19th-century casement dormers and a brick stack.
