Description

No. 26 is a cottage located in Wedhampton, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is set end to the road and features roughcast on timber framing, along with brick and rubble stonework. The cottage has a thatched roof and consists of a single storey with an attic. It has one bay with a gable stack, which is extended by a second bay beyond the stack, and includes a single storey pantiled lean-to. Each bay has a boarded door, and there are timber casement windows. The gable is framed with wattle and daub infill, and the roof is half hipped. There is a brick stack, with a second stack added alongside the lean-to.
