Description

Ellis Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It has a rendered and colourwashed exterior with a thatched roof. The building stands two storeys high and features three wide bays with a central hall plan. The entrance has a central half-glazed door that is sheltered by a tiled pent roof. The windows are small timber casements, with three lights on the ground floor and two lights on the first floor. There are gable stacks, along with an axial two-flue stack on the left side of the cottage. An attached single-storey outhouse is also present.
