Description

Mayflower Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. It is timber-framed with roughcast render and features thatched roofs that are hipped to the right side. The cottage has a painted brick plinth and a brick stack located to the left of the center. It stands two storeys high and includes a closed gabled porch with a 20th-century boarded door. On the ground floor, there is one small casement window and an oriel casement window. The first floor has three small casement windows. It is possible that the building originally extended further to the north-west.
