Description

The gate, wall, and steps at the front of Wedhampton Manor date from the 19th century and form the roadside boundary of the manor's front garden. The wall is made of brick and stands approximately 2.2 meters high, featuring a rounded end on the north side and a central pedestrian gate. The wrought iron gate, located opposite the front entrance of the house, is raised over seven limestone steps. It has cross bracing and dog rails, with central medallions and similar narrow side panels that terminate in an ogee overthrow.
