Description
The stables to Wedhampton Cottage are a Grade II listed building from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of colourwashed brick with stone dressings and feature a slate roof. The building has a tall central arched carriageway that is gabled at both the front and rear. On the south side, there are two carriage houses with three-centred ashlar arches and timber doors. The attic includes horizontal oval windows. Additionally, there are two bays on the north side that form stables, which also have an oval window. The gable ends are raised and coped. Notable decorative features include a fox head carving over the carriageway arch and triple horses' feet carvings above the doors under the arch.
