Description

Milestone located at the turning to Foxley Corner, dating from the 18th and early 19th centuries. It is made of limestone and features an iron plate. The stone is rectangular with a gabled top, and the iron plate is also gabled. The plate reads "SARUM, 19," with a triangular section below that indicates distances: "DEVIZES 4" on the left and "EVERLY 11" on the right.
