Description

URCHFONT FRIARS LANE SU 0457 11/208 The Sawmills II Cottage. Late C18. Colourwashed brickwork, thatched roof. Single storey and attic, raised in slender framing to 2 storeys, 2 bays. Central C20 six-panelled door with flat canopy. Ground floor has 4-paned sashes and small casement windows to upper floor. Gable stack to road. Extension on left, mid C19, with slate roof. Timber casement windows and stack at junction with main building. Rear wing on right of 3 bays, thatched, with casement windows and axial gable stack.
