Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1840. It features Flemish brickwork and a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has an 'L' shape, with four bays across the front and three bays deep. There is a central through hall and a wing at the right rear. An open stone porch, which was reset on the north side facing the farmyard after a fire around 1900, has the date 1843 inscribed on it. The windows have stone hollow moulded mullions, with three-light windows on the ground floor and two-light windows on the first floor, both adorned with label mouldings. The original porch on the front has been replaced with a narrow blind light that matches a similar blind window on the first floor. The eaves are wide and boxed, and the roof is hipped. The windows at the rear have been replaced.
