Description

Nos 5 and 6 on Mason's Lane are two 18th-century cottages. They are built from coursed rubble and feature a stone-tiled roof with half-hipped end gables and four hipped dormers. The cottages are two storeys high and have four windows, which are sashes set in exposed frames. Each cottage has a plain doorway located in the side elevation. These cottages sit on a prominent hillside site and are currently undergoing restoration as of 1973. Nos 4 to 6 form a group.
