Description

16 Coppice Hill is a late 17th or early 18th century cottage, originally two properties, located at the rear of number 19 and accessed via a passageway between numbers 15 and 19. The cottage is two storeys high and constructed of coursed rubble, with a modern pantile roof and two hipped dormers. The first floor has two paired windows on each side, with one blocked window in the centre. The windows are wooden casements with small panes. On the ground floor, there is a five-light window with stone mullions on the right-hand side, and a sash window with intact glazing bars on the left. Two adjacent square-headed doorways feature glazed doors. This building forms part of a group with numbers 9 to 12, 14 to 16, 19 to 23, the former Wesleyan Methodist Church, and associated wall and gates.
