Description
20 Coppice Hill is a building dating from the 17th century, with additions from the 18th century. It is constructed of rubble with ashlar features and has a stone-tiled roof. The building has two storeys and one gable with an attic. The attic features a 2-light leaded casement window with a stone mullion and a dripmould. On the first floor, there is one sash window with glazing bars and one 3-light leaded casement window, also with stone mullions and a dripmould. The central doorway has a 6-panelled door with a stone surround featuring deep roll bolection moulding. Above the doorway, there is a rectangular fanlight with diamond pattern glazing bars. To the left of the door is a sash window with glazing bars, and to the right, there is a pair of sash windows separated by a wooden mullion and set within a stone architrave surround. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 9 to 12, Nos 14 to 16, Nos 19 to 23, the Wesleyan Methodist Church, the former Wesleyan Methodist Church, and the wall and gates.
