Description

No 1 Castle Street is a farmhouse that has been converted into a cottage, dating from the 17th to 18th century. It is constructed from sarsen rubble and features a tiled roof. The building is two stories high and has two bays, with a central door located off the yard. There are various windows, including a 4-pane sash window to the right of the door. The gable includes a central door and two shallow paned canted bays that sit under a continuous roof. The eaves are boxed, and there is a stack on the right side of the building.
