Description

No. 6 Church Street is a farmhouse that likely dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble and features a stone tiled roof. This solid two-storey house has three bays, with a central doorway set in a wooden canopied porch. On either side of the doorway are two-light casement windows, and there are similar casements above, although these have smaller panes and thicker glazing bars. All openings are topped with painted stone arched heads that have a slight camber. The house has overhanging eaves and a hipped roof, with stacks located on the left-hand gable and at the rear right. There is also a lean-to structure on the left side.
