Description

Wing House is a large house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble with a stone-tiled roof. The three-bay symmetrical facade features a central doorway with a fanlight and architrave, incorporating a keystone. This is flanked by shallow arched bay windows with sash windows and moulded fascia boards. Above, there are three 12-light sash windows. The roof has three hipped gabled dormers. Gable end stone stacks are present, along with coped gables featuring large stepped stones. Angle quoins are also visible. A lower, gabled wing at the rear may be of earlier construction.
