Description

7 The Jetty is a house built in two parts, with the earliest section likely dating from the 17th century, although it has been altered. The older part features coursed rubble walls and a stone tiled roof, while the newer section has a different roof. The older section is a single cell, two storeys high, and includes a two-light casement window with a flat timber lintel on the ground floor and a chamfered stone surround for the upper window. It has a coped gable and a sturdy moulded stone chimney stack. There is a blocked two-light mullioned window in the gable. To the right, the later section consists of two bays with flat timber lintels above the casement windows. At the rear of this part, there is a new single-storey extension, while the back of the earlier section has a single three-light casement window with a chamfered timber lintel.
