Description
No. 20 Church Street is a house that was formerly two or possibly three dwellings, likely built in the early 17th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble and features a stone tiled roof. The building has one and a half storeys and a long facade, with outer and central projecting bays that end in coped gables. Each gable has a dormer window with tiles hung on the sides, and the ground floor includes three-light ovolo moulded mullioned windows, with the two on the right featuring hood moulds. Additionally, the left bay has a blocked doorway.
In the inner bays, the left side has a 19th-century casement window with a chamfered timber lintel, while the right side features a door with a four-centred arch, complete with a hoodmould and chamfered architrave. The building has coped gables and both gable and axial stacks, which are made of brick on stone bases.
