Description

This is a row of six mid-19th century townhouses located on the south side of St Ann's Street, set back from the street line. The buildings are three storeys high with a basement, and are faced with stucco. They have a low-pitched half-hipped slate roof and flat eaves. The upper floors each have six recessed sash windows without glazing bars. A thin, moulded sill course runs along the first floor.

The ground floor features one window and one entrance each, both with architrave surrounds and vermiculated keystones. The round-arched entrances each have a four-panel door with a round-headed upper panel, set well back. The basements feature a single flush-panelled door and a window each. Nos 44 to 74 (even) and Nos 78 to 82 (even) form a group.
