Description

Dolphin's Cottage, located at No 51 on St Anne's Street, dates from the 18th century and early 19th century. This two-storey building with an attic is constructed of colourwashed brick set on a projecting plinth, featuring a band between the storeys. It has a gable end slate roof with two dormers and tile hanging on the side. The eaves cornice is moulded wood.

On the first floor, there are three windows, with the centre window being blind, all framed by flush architrave and featuring 19th-century sash windows. The ground floor has two similar windows and a central door with six flush panels, which is set in a reeded architrave with corner blocks and topped by a small pedimental hood.

Dolphin's Cottage forms a group with Nos 49 and 51.
