Description
46 St Ann Street is a late 18th-century building that stands two storeys tall, constructed of colourwashed brick on a projecting plinth. It features plain bands between the storeys, a plain frieze, and a small boxed eaves cornice. The gable end has a slate roof. On the upper floors, there are three windows, with the centre window on the second floor being blind. The windows are flush framed sashes with intact glazing bars. The ground floor has two windows with segmental heads and panelled shutters. To the left, there is a reset five-panel door with a small arched radiating fanlight, which is recessed. This door is flanked by narrow panelled pilasters, small cut scroll brackets, a flat cornice, and a small steep, moulded pediment. The building is part of a group that includes Nos 44 to 74 (even) and Nos 78 to 82 (even).
