Description

The gate piers and gate to Bramhope, dating from the 1890s, are constructed from local grey limestone rubble. The piers are square in section, supporting a timber gate. The gate features standards topped with splat acorn finials, diagonal braces below the middle rail, and downward curving braces above the middle rail. The vertical elements are round-section and doubled below the rail. This structure is included for its group value.
