Description

This is an early 19th-century milestone located 200 meters north of the M4 bridge on Croft Road in Swindon. It is made of painted limestone and features a triangular stem, although the top is damaged. The inscription on the left side indicates "To MARLBORO 10 MILES," while the right side reads "To SWINDON 1 MILE."
