Description

Wahroonga is an 18th-century house located on Porthcressa Terrace in Hugh Town. It is constructed of roughly coursed granite rubble and features a gabled slate roof with granite end stacks. The rear outshut, which is a mid-19th century addition, has pantiles and a brick lateral stack. The house has a three-room plan and includes a 20th-century granite porch with a plank door positioned to the left of the center. Granite lintels are present above late 19th-century horned sashes, which consist of 3/3-pane and 2/2-pane windows. Although the interior was not inspected, it is noted to have open fireplaces with granite lintels.
