Description

This is a house from the 18th century located on Well Lane in Hugh Town. It is built from whitewashed rubble granite and features large quoins and a roof made of Delabole slate. The house has a two-unit central-entry plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. The entrance includes a panelled door that is sheltered by a twin pentice head. On the ground floor, there is a late 19th-century horned 3/3-pane sash window, while the first floor has two casement windows from the 1980s. Inside, the house has moulded joists and open fireplaces with granite lintels.
