Description
Kavorna Bakery and Gift Shop is a house that may have originally been two dwellings, now serving as a shop and flat. It dates from the 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of coursed granite rubble, with colourwashed render on the front, and features a gabled scantled slate roof with granite end stacks. It has an L-plan layout, with a rear left wing from the 18th century. The building is two storeys high and has a four-window range on the first floor. The ground floor includes two mid-20th century segmental shop windows, a 3/3-pane sash window to the right, and two recessed doorways with half-glazed early 20th century doors. Inside, there are plain 19th century joists.
