Description

NETHER COMPTON ST 5917 NETHER COMPTON VILLAGE 13/70 Vine House GV II Detached house, at right angles to road. Late C17, with mid C19 addition at east end. Rubble-stone walls. Clay tile roofs, with stone slates at eaves. Brick stacks at left and right hand gables. Two storeys, 3 windows, and 2 windows to C19 addition, C19 and C20 renewed wood casements with glazing-bars, wood cills and lintels, mainly of 3 lights, and of 2 lights to right of front door. Two gabled dormers have clay-tile roofs, and 2-light wood casements with glazing-bars. Front door, at original centre, is panelled with an integral fanlight, C20. Wood canopy on brackets over, C20.
