Description

The Round House, formerly known as Round Lodge, is a park lodge built in the early 19th century. It features dressed round stone walls and a conical thatch roof topped with a stone finial. A pentice thatch roof extends over the ground floor windows, which are supported on mullions with cross-transoms, flanking a central ground floor window. The windows are wood casements with lead lights, along with fixed lead light windows. The entrance to the house is located in a 20th-century extension at the south, which is not of special interest.
